Frequently Asked Questions

How do I return an item?

You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper.  However, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

You may also just ship it back to us at the following address, along with an order number and your name, to:

Once we receive the product back into our possession, we will send you an email and start the refund process.

How often do you ship?

We ship items once a day, Monday through Friday, whether you chose UPS or USPS.

 

When can I expect my order to be shipped?

We strive for shipping orders the same day as placed, unless they were placed after 4pm.  Then, they will be shipped the next day. If the item is a custom-made product, such as the appliquéd sweatshirts or the diploma frames, then please allow extra time for shipment.

 

Will I be contacted if an item is out of stock?

Yes, you will be contacted the same day as the order was placed or the next day, informing you the item is out of stock.  If the order was placed on a weekend, then you will be contacted on Monday.

 

How long until my order arrives?

We are located in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

If you choose UPS ground, standard delivery times are as follows:

Western States, i.e. Southern/Western Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana and all other states to the West take approximately 4-5 days.

Central States, i.e. North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Florida and Louisiana and Northern Texas take approximately 3-4 days.

Midwest States, i.e. Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York and all states on the coast take approximately 2-3 days.

States surrounding Michigan, i.e. Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, and parts of Wisconsin take approximately 1-2 days.

 

How do backorders work?

Your card will still be charged at the time of checkout and we will ship the whole order once all items are in stock.

 

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes we do! We offer in store gift certificates, which can be used at Buster’s or Campus Trends in the Bernhard Center on Campus.

We also offer on-line gift certificates which will be e-mailed directly to you after purchasing.

 

Can I ship to multiple locations?

Yes you can! When you’re at the shopping cart screen and it’s time to check out, simply press the “Checkout with Multiple Addresses” button.  Simple!

 

Is WMU Online the same thing as the WMU Bookstore?

No, we are a close affiliate with the WMU Bookstore and we receive many products from them, but we are not located on campus.
